Will Widescreen Monitors be used more and more?

Are companies for monitors and flat panel displays changing over to widescreen? Will we see them used more? do you think there will be a day when all monitors are widescreen?
 
I loke wide screen. and yes it wil all be one day thats why I think that 75% of movies are recorded in that format. I just want the price of the TV to come down from 4000$ :|
 
I personally have a widescreen 32" tv and its fantastic. it only cost me £1000 ($1600), thats because we dont have high definition tv in the uk and its cheaper without it. I was asking about monitors with pc's and not tv's!
