Will watercooling interfere with newer motherboard's heatsinks?

Greetings all. I'm planning on upgrading around March of next year when I have the cash and can get that sexy, sexy Q9450. I'm looking at all these newer motherboards, and I see a lot of them have the heatsinks carefully positioned around the CPU, expecting the air from the CPU's fan. Except... my CPU won't have a fan. I've got a watercooling setup that I don't plan on getting rid of. Is that going to be a problem? My preferred mobo manufacturer is Asus, and they seem especially prone to this practice of elaborate CPU-fan-leeching heatsink designs...

You'll have to have some airflow. ASUS includes a fan to place on the heatsink with its higher end boards, such as the P5B Deluxe (look at AT's review to see what I mean.)
