No VC133 Memmory will not work on any Intel based chipset motherboard. VC memory works only with recent VIA chipset motherboards.

So it won't run at all....That sux. Does someone have a part number for Micron memory that WILL work on a BE6-2 withh a coopermine 500e OCed to 750. I have a stick of Micron PC 133 memory in the machine now, but I can't tell what exactly it is.

Oh and by they way...I have not followed Mobos in the last few months...With that in mind what Mobos (preferably Abit or Asus) have the VIA chipset.

Thanks

Well, I have a stick of the VC...when I put it in...The computer generates long continuously beeps and won't POST. Could it be because my CAS settings are set to 3 3 3?

Thanks

It just won't work, VC133 ic a completely different standard from PC133...just the way it works, that intel chipset is too old and simply will not recognize it :( Hopefully you can get a refund for it or something.

Thanks. Is there any Kingston memory that will run on my type of system? Or maybe micron memory?

Thanks

Any type of 168-pin PC100 or PC133 should work, cas2 if you want faster stuff, I would reccomend (for the fastest) the Mushkin ([l]www.mushkin.com[/] pretested PC133 2-2-2 It is RAM that is pretested to do cas 2 at 133mhz...infineon chips...overall good stuff :)
