Will upping my VDIMM improve the memory timings I can run?

Can't seem to get this ram beyond 2.5-3-3-7 (well, havent even played with TRAS). I'm really wanna get my TRCD down to 2, will upping the voltage have a realistic possibility of doin it for me? This is the 512mb PC3200 Geil sticks from newegg, the ones with the blue spreaders, my rig (in my sig). Thanks for your input. Couldn't seem to find anything about this on any of the memory faq's I looked at.

Yep... voltage should improve timings, and increase the maximum speed.

Though, your results may vary, it could do nothing, it could get it to 2-2-2-5....

EDIT: Maximum safe DIMM voltage IMO is 2.8... go any higher, and you could risk damaging your system.

many newer high performance dimms allow you to go all the way to 3.2 with OUT vioding the warrenty. I thinmk that geil is atleast 2.9 you should check though to be safe what it reccomends.
