Will UDMA66 be affected by a CD on the same channel?

I seem to remember that I I have a UDMA33 and a UDMA66 drive on the same IDE channel, that the faster drive will be limited to UDMA33. Is that true?

If so what happens if you have another IDE drive (CD or tape) on the same channel?

Nope, I have a PIO4 drive and a UDMA66 drive on the same channel and there is no performance hit that I can see. Also had another UDMA66 drive and a CD-ROM on the same channel; didn't notice anything out of the ordinary either.
