Will Tv Wonder work with Kyro2?

I need to upgrade my video card and even though the Geforce2Pro is faster in most tests than the Kyro2 from what I've gathered since Kyro2 is a newer design it has some newer features that the G2 family doesn't. I'd go with a G2Pro if I can't use a K2 with a ATI Tv wonder.

I think all the card needs is overlay support, does Kyro have what it needs?

I've been trying to find out the same thing! I think one person told me that his kyro II worked fine, but ATI has yet to respond to my e-mails. Can't tell you for sure whether they work, but I sure hope they are compatible because they are both going in my new system :)

All new video cards support overlay mode.

As for the features, Kyro 2 has some extras (tile base rendering) and the Geforce as others (T&L)

I meant the video features such as hardware DVD playback, video editing, compression or other features one might have over the other.

I don't think any of them has has full DVD HW decoding, they both have some features to improve DVD playback, though I think ATI has the best.

When it comes to video editing you are mainly looking at their 2d speed. Neither of them as anysort of 2d compression, thats left to MPEG cards.
