Will Toshiba take notebooks back?

I bought a notebook from Compaq a month ago and they took it back without giving me any trouble when it didn't meet my performance requirements. This service was a life saver.
I bought this notebook as much for entertainment between classes as i am for my actual school work.
Right now i'm looking at Toshiba's 5205 series notebooks. They appear to be upgraded in all the catagories that my compaq 2100 disapointed me in.

My question is will toshiba easy to deal with like hpshopping was?

Yes they will. Check out

Here

and you'll find some info about my experiences with the book you're looking at. Most of the information on the 5205 books can be found under Toshiba-General.

Ok, i'm convinced this is the notebook for me. Will toshiba give discounts to college students? It looks like they will but i haven't been able to find any prices on their site.

Also Does it look really bad when you run games at 600x800 or 1024x768?
Is it noticably loud?

Can you force normal nvidia drivers or at least install a newer set than tomshardware had for their test? I'd like to squeeze a little extra performance out of it.

1024x768 isn't bad at all. There's a bit of fuzziness and obviously won't be as razor sharp as running it at native resolutions but I can't complain with the way FFXI onlin runs at that resolution on my S119.
