Im going to get an athlon 850mghz and I want to know if DDR Ram will work with that, and if so what is a good motherboard to get with it. This is my first time building a PC so forgive me if this is an ignorant question.
 
I just chose the EPOX 8K7A+ (as have many others on these forums). Available with or wothout RIAD support.

What vintage is your Athlon 850? You may wanna spring for a new processor to go along with your new mboard and DDR.
