If you don't get a sufficient number of answers to your post here, you might want to try asking over in Cases & Cooling afterwards, as they also discuss water cooling there. We only ask that you don't cross-post the question concurrently.

The 500 series and 700 series use different mounts for the cooler. AMD is pretty good about using the same one between card series. nVidia seems to change it every go around.

So while I have never tried to put that bracket onto a 500 series card, I am going to venture to say that it will not work.

I have a 580 Classified and I was curious about this

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7719/nzxt-kraken-g10-review-liquid-cooling-for-your-gpu/2

Would that work for my card?

It will work on the GTX 580.

Looking at this picture below, it should work. I am a little concerned about the power connector bump out having clearance for the G10. You also may need to request longer screws from NZXT when you order the bracket if you plan on keeping the backplate on while using the rubber spacers. You would want to keep that heatspeader plate on, as it's looks pretty boss and should perform as well as it looks.

Thank you. I might give it a go. How would I go about requesting longer screws?

There is a NZXT rep over on OCN that can help out. His name is xD3aDPooLx

You may need to register with an account on OCN before you can see his profile?

And you could always send the NZXT support team an email from their contact page.

From the rumors I have heard, their fourth batch of G10's are supposed to included longer screws. Worst case scenario, you could do what I did initially and not install the rubber spacers. Just don't over-tighten the screws, because you can damage your GPU. If you don't' feel comfortable doing this, then please don't :D

Thank you so much I appreciate it. Is 30$ that I saw correct? I wouldn't mind paying 60$ plus some.

No problem. Yes, $29 is correct. They can be tough to find now though. I heard Microcenter may have some? Also check online resellers like Newegg and NCIX.

Whats your personal experience with it since I see you have it?

For cards like ours, cards that have better than reference power designs and beefy headspreader plates covering the vram and vrm. I would say they are a perfect match, besides going with a full blown custom loop. I can push my card so much harder than I could with the stock air cooler. The GPU, memory and vrm temps are pretty good. I can now game @ 1450MHz on the core, even games like Crysis 3 with GPU temps below 65c and vrm temps below 75c, which for those clocks is pretty dang good.

Here are some videos I made to show you what I am talking about.

Very nice thank you. Installation looks simple, too. Would you suggest giving my card more life with this cooler or just wait for the 8 series to come out?

If you have 3GB of vram and game @ 1080p, then keep it. It's still a boss card.

Yeah I have that 3gb card and game at 1080 for a while still. Later this year I'll get a 1440p monitor.
