Will a 120GB ATA 133 hard disk function in a old Soyo motherboard? The exact model number is
SY-5EHM/5EH5 ver 2.0, I do really know about computers... but i find no way for knowing if this is posible, of course I know that this HD will word in ATA 33 mode... but that doesn't matter, this is for a friend of mine... wich only cares about storage, no speed, I would apreciatte your answers, thank you in advance

Straight out? No. That's a Socket 7 board based on the VIA MVP3.

Your best option is to buy a modern PCI IDE Controller and connect the hard drive to that. The BIOS on that board won't be able to handle 120GB.
