Im wondering because i ordered this its says it works up to 3.2ghz, but I am getting the feeling it only works with the northwood core and not the prescott core.

dont get that cooler...it looks like a generic POS. they dont even say what socket its for so you have no idea if it will fit your proc or not.

I think you'd be better off just sticking to the Intel stock hsf.

i love my stock heatsnk i have the 3.0e and right now its overclocked to 3.46 @ 230fsb im so proud of it best thing about it? the fan still stays at the min. rpms unless im gaming.. its set to keep my proc. below 50c so i know that im under that nearly 100% of the time... i can get it to max rpm if i cover the side vent... while running prime95 etc.. and this is in a m-atx case... my .02 says stick with the stock!
