I believe I'm having an overheating problem with my video card. I recently got a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro, and since I got it, I've noticed some strange video issues. At first I thought it was just driver problems, but recently the problem has gotten unbearable, specifically playing Doom 3. I've been having graphical glitches and CTD's since the first time I played it (even after installing the Doom 3 hotfix drivers), and last night I was unable to play for more than 5 minutes at a time without it crashing. I then realized that it was an exceptionally hot night last night, and I checked my CPU and chassis temps, and sure enough they were about 15-20c above normal. So, I removed the two cards under my vid card, left the side off, and pointed my desk fan right at the vid card, and I played for 30 minutes without a problem (it was also running a lot smoother). So then I put the side back on, thinking maybe the extra breathing room under the vid card would be enough, but no such luck. 10 minutes and then the graphics got all weird, then it crashed.
So, I think I'm going to need some after market cooling. I'd like to know if this will work well?

ld that adding a fan or heat sinks to the card itself could void the warranty, and I'm a little iffy about mucking about with that sort of stuff on a card I can't afford to replace, so I like the idea of the above item. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with something like this, or if it will work acceptably without having any additional heat sinks on the card?
