Will this work the other way around?

This little baby caught my eye. I've been looking to buy some ultra-fast SCSI drives, but that'd mean I'd have to buy one of those expensive adapters. This adapter converts SATA to SCSI, but will it work the other way around (ie, SCSI to SATA)?

hmmm, interesting question. i would hope so, but doubt it. it's probably hard wired to only operate one direction so that the companies which produce SCSI adapters will still have business.

Well, that's part of the problem. I can't find a 1 port SCSI to SATA adapter anywhere. All I can find are RAID adapter going for ~?500 a piece.
