will this work? memory question

I want to upgrade the memory in my Mom's computer. It is a HP Pavillion 6356. It uses a AMD 333 processor and has 64 meg of 66mhz CL2 168 pin SDRAM. It uses 2 sticks of 32mb each. I picked up the Kingston 128 mb stick that runs at 133mhz at CL3. HP's web site says it will accept 128 sticks.
Will this memory work in this computer? Can I just pull out one of the 32mb sticks and add the 128 stick? Should I just pull out all the old ram and use the single 128mb stick?
Thanks in advance!

*edited to correct "pin" number error and add more info on MB's abblitily to accept the 168 pin stick.*

156 pin? You mean 168 pin DIMMs?

Probably have difficulties. A single stick of 128MB is probably too high a density/capacity for the motherboard chipset to handle.

My question also??? 156pin??? more like 168pin... I would also agree with Andy but check the book or go to HP`s site and take a look there to know for sure before getting into a "can O worms".

Thanks for the input so far! The MB will support 128 sticks. I just didn't know if the fact that the new stick was 133mhz and CL3 would matter. Also, can I mix the old with the new stick or should I just go with the single 128 stick?
Again, Thanks!

I wont matter about the rating of the ram since you have a 66mhz buss system its more like overkill... I would take the 66mhz sticks out and use the single 128meg and sell the other on egay or here on anandtech... (PS enable your profile if you list your items here also allow for private msg. also). Good luck...

Bartman39,
Thanks!! That is what I needed to know. The 128 should help mom zip around a little better. I didn't realize I wasn't "enabled". I will see if I can correct that.
