Font size much?

I haven't seen any TOR benchmarks, so I can't say for sure. Odds are it will be fine, but we just don't know at this point.

That being said, I wouldn't buy that system unless I was getting it for a song.

Right, it depends on your budget. If it's very tight, then an AMD CPU gaming system is OK (but why 6-core? The extra two won't help).

For medium and higher budgets the intel i5 processors make more sense.

TOR minimum requirements:

OSWindows XP, Vista/7 CPUAMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better · Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better

RAMWindows XP: 1.5GB

Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB ·

PCs using a built-in graphical chipset, 2GB RAM recommended. VideoATI X1800 or better* · nVidia 7800 or better* · Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better*

DVD-ROM8x or better *Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

You will be fine many times over. That said, that system will most likely be pretty bad performance / cost. You are getting fooled by the numbers.

That depends on the cost. I have seen some very good offers on AMD systems.

Judging from the way he phrased his post, emphasizing the core count and video ram, its very likely he doesn't know enough to tell a good deal from bad.
