What do you think of this setup:

P4 2.53b retail
Asus P4B533-E
Corsiar XMS 512MB PC3200C2
Antec Perf.II case with 350W smart psu

I'm going to throw two WD40BB's, a GF2ti and GF2MX for my dual 17's. That and lite-on DVD and CDRW.

What do you think of that setup? I'm looking for a solid machine that I can have fun trying to O/C when I get bored. Stability is key, but I want to get my feet wet in the overclocking world....thanks in advance for your help. Sorry to sound like such a newb, but all the info on this board makes my head spin!!

Can likely get a lower 1.8a or 2.0a or even a 2.26b for a lot less and likley hit same top speed as a 2.53ghz...The 2.53ghz is nice that in just in case you get a dud and wont oc much you still start at a great speed of 2.53ghz!!!

You may also want to hold off if you can or may be even better case to spedn less now on a 1.8 to play with and wait for the new c1 stepping 2.53ghz chips that should hit 3ghz ad still be running....Just a thought!!!
