Hi ya,

I have a ADSL 6MB bandwidth.(needs dialup)

i now have a wireless router. the manual said that to connect the wireless rounter's WAN from adsl model LAN for internet. and any other direct connect(cabled) computer should connect to the wireless router.

So now, the adsl model has only one cable connect to the wireless router.
and now the wireless router has one wireless connect to my notebook. and one cable connecting to my main desktop pc.

will this way slow down the speed of my desktop pc? i know it shares the bandwidth, but i mean is there difference connecting to the wireless router or wired router for my desktop pc?

The speed difference: No, not noticebly at least.

The difference between a wired and wireless, to your router, would be negligable if they are right next to each other. If that is the case, better to go with wired, cheaper and no interference , etc.
