Yep should be great for ya. What kind of 24in display do you have?

That is what you need DVI so you can connect it to pc as digital instead of analog. If you use vga cable it will be blurry and fonts looking nasty and its a mess. Soo ya your set my friend.
You may choose your resolution, I recommend 1920x1200 for 24 inch monitor.. gl
