Will this Thermaltake PSU be good enough to replace a dying Antec TPT?

Hello!

Here is my current power supply, an old (at least 6) Antec True Power Trio TP3-550 550W. When I'm gaming my computer will sometimes do a hard-freeze and not BSOD or anything... I just have to restart it to get it going again. My temps are all A-OK using coretemp/GPUz and my case has relatively good airflow with 5 120mm fans.*Just GPU or CPU benchmarks alone don't freeze it. May it be noted when there's a quick load demanded via CPU or GPU benchmark, the PSU makes a zap and then continuous slight ringing sound. Similar to when a laptop a.c. adapter is on its way out.

Here is the Thermaltake TR2 600w W0388RU TR2-600NL2NH that I picked up at a secondhand hardware shop, but it is in new condition. FWIW It feels just as heavy as my current PSU and doesn't look or feel like one of those cheapo raidmax/toppower PSUs that I've worked on. In terms of build quality it LOOKS good. Will this be good enough for my system in sig? When I upgrade my system next I'll likely be throwing in a Radeon 7850 or R7 260x, so power consumption isn't going any higher.*

For those of you on tapatalk, specs: FX-8350 @ 4.2Ghz - 8GB DDR3 - Radeon HD 6870 1GB - X-Fi Titanium SB0880 - ATI TV Wonder 650 - 80GB OCZ SSD - 2.6TB on 3x HDD - 5 120mm case fans.

Personally, I'd want something a bit higher quality, as this one is made by HEC, not the best manufacturer by a long shot.

If you're going to use it... I can't find any reviews of it, but if it's anything like the TR2 RX 750W (also a HEC build, review by hardwaresecrets), treat it as a 450W unit that you should never load near 450W just to be on the safe side.

However I recommend either selling it on or keeping it as a backup in case you need to temporarily replace or troubleshoot your primary PSU.

I decided to switch to the Thermaltake instead of using the failing Antec Truepower Trio. I pushed the GPU/CPU through a battery of Prime/Furmark and passed without making those ringing, zaps and crackling sounds from the PSU and no crashes. If my next GPU doesn't use any more power than the 6870 I already have I'll probably stick with this one. I noticed the fan on the Antec moved much slower than the thermaltake, despite both being silent.

The length of each cable is different than the Antec and with a few modern improvements (8pin CPU, 8+6pin PCI-E) looks like it'll do the job. Making things look decent in the case is even harder than the Antec for the different lengths.

I dusted, added the other expansion cards and took off all the adhesives afterwards.
