Before I order the last 3 parts of my new system, will these components work together?

Epox 8KTA3 ~ newegg
Xpert 2000 32MB AGP OEM ~ newegg
& the retail version of either the Duron 900, Duron 950 or Athlon 900 cpu

I already have:
SX830
junk sound card[I've got 3 new ones lying around, so one oughta work]
modem [ditto]
Infineon ram 128MB PC133 & 128MB PC100
Maxtor 20G HD
Iomega CDRW
junk CDROM
floppy

Will this system be stable? [with Win98, I don't want to spring for new OS]

Also, what is the difference between the oem & retail versions of the Xpert card?

Thanks for any advice.

Just make sure that stick of PC100 can do 133MHz if you plan on unlocking and overclocking that Duron to 133MHz FSB. Also, make sure you have a high quality PS for that Duron. Everything looks okay, but you might have problems with all that "junk" stuff.

I know that the OEM Radeons are clocked a little lower than the retail ones, but I don't know about the Rage.

My undestanding is that the only difference between the OEM and boxed versions of the Xpert 2000 is that the OEM doesn't have the manual or the free games. The card itself s/b exactly the same.

The manual should be available online?

Now that Newegg is back up, I guess it is time to take the plunge & order:)

Thanks for the info.
