a freind is part of a start up called Pic-fix. basicly getting photos from custommers dig. or analog. and connecting them with proffesional printers....and sending prints back...pretty simple idea...wondering how you think it will do...or succeed at all....any coments appreciated.. thanks

Good luck competing with Walmart and established online printers like SnapFish that can go lower on price than you ever will be able to.

it's a good idea.

GOOD idea's however are a dime a dozen. it isn't the idea that makes or breaks a business it's the funding and execution.

Isn't there a feature in windows XP that does this automatically when you hook up a digital camera? I remember hearing about the idea, not sure if they've implemented it yet.

Modify your idea. You take bad pics from customers and you fix them. Fix them how? A lot of lighting issues can be fixed by adjusting levels, a lot of noise in pictures can be fixed by smoothing things out. There are many ways to fix problems with pictures, but most people don't know how to. I am just touching on the surface, you can even offer things like airbrushing and what not. I bet a lot of chicks who post pics on Hotornot would pay money for this stuff.
