Will this SCSI setup work?

I want to connect an IBM Ultrastar 36Z15 15k rpm hd (Ultra 160), Plextor 8/20 burner and some SCSI cdrom too.

Would an Ultra2 card like this Adaptec 2940 suffice? It's only an ULTRA2-LVD card, but I can't imagine I'll see much of a performance difference with spending more on an Ultra 160 card.

Will the hard drive be compatible with the Ultra2 interface and get a full 80mb/sec transfer?


Also, will connecting the slower cdrom's to the card slow down the whole chain or will it still work at Ultra2 speeds?
