Will this RDRAM work on my Dell?

Hey guys,

My dad has an old Dell Dimension 8100 with the old 1.4 ghz Intel procs and it uses RDRAM. He wants me to upgrade from 128 megs🙂roll: I know). Since he lives in Singapore, there is only 3 places which sell this. Its just that I dont know if the RDRAM works on not.

Any idea if this will work on my Dell. I have to be sure as there is no return policy at all here. Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks good, but remember you must buy pairs, such as 2 x 128. Most P4 motherboards had 4 slots so your dad probably has 2 slots free.

If customs isn't a problem you can buy a used pair of 128 PC800 sticks for $50-70 total (the FS/T forum here is cheaper than eBay). I'll be selling a pair myself soon once I finish upgrading my mom's PC from a P4 1.6 up to an A64 2800+ (it's our xmas gift to her).
