ok heres the deal, just bought a new motherboard, i put a 1600xp in it and i tried running pc2700 with it, could that be the problem my pc wont boot up... the mobo i have is motherboard i get no beeps or anything...

Try reseating the RAM and CPU.

What exactly does it do? fans? lights? anything? if u dont get anything, think psu/mobo. if u get something, try resetting the jumper oin the mobo.
