Will this ptz ip zoom camera work over the Internet with our iPhones?

Hello all
We were looking at setting up a camera at home to access on our iPhones remotely. Pretty flexible right now, but these ones that claim remote zoom and motion sensors that notify you via text message etc look pretty cool.

Are these systems pretty easy to setup and maintain? What app is recommended (BlueIris?)? Or are they likely riddled with bugs and trouble unless you spend mega bucks on a turnkey solution?
