Hello all, I'm in the process of getting ready to build a new PC. So far I will be building around a 6750 intel, 8800gts 320 and 2 gig ddr2 800 ram. My question is, I have a new Okia 450atx psu, I know its not the best brand, but will it work? An even if it will work is it recomended or is it just better to go out and by a brand new psu?

Thanks

Throw that Okia in the garbage where it belongs. If you can afford to buy the hardware in your OP then you can afford a quality and efficient psu. Please see this thread for psu recommendations. :)

Thank you for the quick reply John. To be honest price is really not an issue, and Im not really a cheap person either, money doesnt mean much to me if im spending on the right reason. However I try not to be wastefull if I can avoid it. If the Okia may cause problems to my future system, I will look into some of the psu's in the link you provided.

OKIA PSU`s are shipped with cases and for the most part they are underpowered junk!!

If you have nothing better or money is tight you need to use what you have..
But I would get a quality PSU as soon as is possible!!!
