Will this psu run a ati 3870..

Hi was wondering, if my 2 year old Fortron AX500-A run the system in my sig and a ati 3870 512mb, i'm little outa tech game. Haven't keep up with newsest and latest. I'm thinking it should run it fine, but unsure...

I had a FSP AX400 running a very similar system:

eVGA NF4 w/ 3800+
2 GB ram
4 Hdds
Optical drive
7800GT OC
shitload of case fans (8)

Everything ran fine until I added another 7800 GT. I got an "insufficient power" warning for the GPU. I replaced the PSU with a Antec EW 500 and everything is running well so far.
