No, it'll be fine. Those PSU calculators are rarely ever right.

My PSU is only 50 watts better than that one you're getting and i've got a TON more junk in my PC running off it than you do.

People really overthink their power supply purchases.

Four hard drives, 2 optical, x2 3800, 7800gt, 4 sticks of ram, and 3 120mm case fans. Plus odds and ends.

I've got a 500 watt seasonic and it's fine. You're really wasting your time overthinking it.

Is seasonic better than antec?
Is it normal seasonic or hi fi version?

Also, you only have a 7800GT, I am planning 1900XT which takes more power than even 7900GTX

You clearly think that your power supply is not good enough, so go ahead and get another one. It'll make you feel better.

Should be adequate.

If your system becomes unstable, you'll know why, but really, unless you have issues or you are wanting to shell out for another PSU, i wouldn't worry too much.

I replied to your post in Highly Technical but I will repeat it...

"Yes that is more than enough power. I've seen dual opterons and a 6800 ultra run off of a 350watt psu.

For some reason people these days go power crazy with their psus thinking that every system needs at least 500 watts just to post."

It's not the rated wattage, it's the quality. Run your x2 off a 350W if you like instability, but you'd better make sure it's a good one, or you will lose your expensive processor if it fails.

I personally didn't run it and the system was rock solid for months. The PSU was replaced eventually with one that had more watts before it was finally sold.

As for the quality of a PSU, I always use good PSUs in my systems, so I just pay attention to amps per rail and watts.
