I've got a 300W psu from FSP Group Inc. Fortron/Source... I think it's manufactured by Zallman which is quality right?

Will it safely power an Athlon 64 3000
with two 120 gb ide hd
all-in-wonder pro 9000
and dvd burner?

Thanks

won't know until you try :D
seems like it should be able to, using a pretty low power requirement vid card and only 1 optical drive.

You might be cutting it a bit close. Do you plan on doing any upgrading in the future? How much memory you running?

As fishmonger12 said you will not know until you try. It may run it fine, but you never know.

You're gonna need a bigger one. It might work for a while, but it won't last too long. Save yourself the headaches, and buy a good PSU now.

That's a pretty good 300watts unit. It will work and should not fail.

I have more that than on a Fortron 300watts for more than a year now. No problem.
