Will this notebook support a Core 2 Duo processor?

The dv6000t series supports the Core 2 Duo, so it would really depend on if there is a BIOS available for the notebook you selected. From what it looks like, the dv6108nr is just a pre-built version of the dv6000t (hence the variation in the model number) and it would probably work with a Core 2 Duo. But just remember, changing the processor, especially in a notebook, will void any warranty you have on the machine.

yeah. I dont intend to upgrade the processor until after the warranty period. I'm just trying to find the most cost-efficient way to have a decently futureproof notebook for school. thanks!
