Will this memory work?

I picked up the 17-860 & Biostar TP-55 MB combo at Fry's this morning. I was going to buy the Kingston DDR3 1600 4Gb kit on sale but the sales guy talked me into this kit:
Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PVS34G1333LLK
I just want to know, will it work?
He seemed to think I needed something running st 1333 but I'm concerned that the memory has 1.7v printed on it. Aren't P55 bds. limited to 1.65v?

What was the price difference between the two? Anything clocked at or above 1333 will do great for an i5/i7 system, and I don't think the voltage difference it too much to worry about.

The Patriot is clocked pretty agressively at 7-7-7-x @ 1.7v, so I am pretty sure the RAM would run at looser timings with less voltage. The DDR3 kits @ 1.8-2.0v are really the ones you should avoid, but this seems pretty reasonable.

BTW, it worked came up at 7-7-7-20 @1.7v
I dropped it to 8-8-8-22 @1.65v to be safe.
Thanx for the replies.

Speed difference between 7-7-7 and 8-8-8 is pretty significant. The difference between 1.7v and 1.65 volts is not (in regards to heat/power). Test stability though.
