I am getting ready to build aAsus A7v333 KT333 system. I have purchased everything I did not have except for the memory. I know that DDR PC 2700 will be the best, but I have pc2100, which I will use for the time being.

What will the system lack, or what should I expect.

Since the Athlon can only address 2.1Mb/s (pc2100 speed ram) since it only has a 133mhz fsb you wont see much of a proformance gain by using pc2700 with its 2.7Mb/s speed at 166mhz fsb. Even thought the proformance gain is small I would be sure to upgrade the ram to pc2700 as soon as you can. Only using pc2100 in a Kt333 chipset board is not doing justice to the board. If you only want to use pc2100 then I would stick with the Kt266a boards. The pc2700 will also give you more head room when it comes to overclocking.
