FRY's has a good deal on the Vengeance memory, $100+tax, and I bought the ECS mobo for $95 total out the door.

Being on a budget, and wanting to take advantage of the Corsair deal, I'd like to buy it tomorrow if they play nice.

The mobo says it supports 1600 (O.C.) does that mean I'll have to go into the BIOS and adjust the clock speed when I install the ram?
 
not sure as far as compatibility, but if the ECS board doesn't have any problems, it should work. and yes, you will probably need to adjust settings manually, though I am not certain, it may just auto detect, though I doubt it.
