can i change vcore and stuff like that

Looks like it should work out as bios has alot of options....Although it's not the best looking motherboard :)

Here's a link to a review of the motherboard in question. You might as well go thru the whole review and see if it'll meet your needs/expectations. There is a page with screenshots of the bios which has pretty much the options you'd want. It seems like it got a pretty favorable bang for buck thumbs up!

That board has legacy parallel and serial ports. No dvi for the 2500K cpu video. I would suggest to look at better boards for your SB build.

The legacy parallel and serial ports can be disabled in bios. As far as the no DVI it does have a HDMI port at least as viewed in the photos and read in the specs. I'll agree it's not the best choice for a 2500K build but depending on his needs it'll get the job done....Of course not sure what his needs are as not much info in his post other than his question.

Let's just assume he's shopping by price and diverting his motherboards savings towards a better power supply :)

I haven't used a Gigabyte MB lately but in the past I did have a $51 MB that pushed my e5200 to 4ghz plus with 100% stability.

Looking at the pics on the Microcenter site. I can't see the dvi and vga ports. Only shows the parallel and serial ports on the back.

Yep you are correct. For some reason I read DVI but thought HDMI guess it was a brain fart on my part :)

NP. He's better off looking at other z68 boards. Without the on board dvi/vga connections, he's not taking full advantage of the SB cpus.
