Will this Ipod Interface work with my iPhone?

I suggest you check out a more specific Mac websites, but unless something says it is iPhone compatible, watch out. Some plugs still run on the firewire style adapter whereas the 3G is based on the USB version - and some will also put you into airplane mode.

My iPhone is the older style, not 3G.
