Ok... I'm getting a Sennheiser G4ME Zero "gaming" headphone that I'd like to run through a Denon Rx nearby as the amplifier. The headphone has dual 3.5mm jacks (1 for mic and 1 for the ears).
An HDMI cable will run directly from the Desktop PC to the Denon Rx. The Rx has a 1/4" headphone jack. How should using an adapter to make the 2, 3.5mm jacks to a single 1/4" jack work? Will it? I don't know enough about cables but I guess the mic signals will pass back to the PC while the computer will be passing through the Rx going the other way to my ears... Am I understanding this correctly?
