Will this hardware work for a UT or Quake3 server?

I have a dual celeron clocked at 450mhz, 512MB of ram, and dual-NICs hooked up to ADSL. This is a server I use at home. It is my Windows 2000 domain controller, DNS, Web, FTP, E-mail, VPN, file server, terminal server, etc. Now that is a lot of stuff running on it, but since it is only used by me, my family, and friends, it gets little simultaneous use. If I put UT dedicated server and/or Quake3 dedicated server on it, do you think it will be able to handle it? Again, it won't be open to the public so it won't always have 16 people fragging away all the time. I didn't know what kind of resources those dedicated servers pull. Is it mostly CPU or Ram dependent or what? Also do you see any limitations, like I may not want to have people on VPN when I play, etc? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Hmm... dual celeron? That should work find, but I would maybe consider putting the player limit at 12. Its mostly CPU dependent for Quake3 server. Same with UT (does UT support SMP?)

Anyways, happy fraggin!

I would say go ahead, but run an 8 or 12 person limit. 16 may be too high, especially in UT - which doesn't support SMP (I think)
