Here are my specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
System Manufacturer: Compaq-Presario
System Model: AY138AA-ABA CQ5320Y
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240 Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 3072MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 2816MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

You're most likely going to need a better PSU for that card. You can do a quick check to see for yourself. Cut a piece of cardboard 11.5" x 3.5" and see if it fits your case.

the compaq uses an unknown 250w PSU

you're definitely going to need to replace the psu

i'd recommend a corsair builder cx430, as they go on sale pretty frequently

based on this the case will probably fit the 6850/70
