Will This GPU Work With My Motherboard?

I have a really old PC and i don't have enough money to upgrade everything so i'm starting with the GPU. I saw a EVGA Geforce 650 GTX 2 GB GDDR5 GPU for fairly cheap but i was wondering if it would work with my current Motherboard? I also only have a 450w PSU so dunno if that's enough. My CPU is a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 btw

No reason it shouldn't.

The board has a PCIE X16 slot.

The GPU only requires one 6 pin power connector.

What's your video card budget?

A GTX750 or 750ti is a lot faster and requires no power connector at all.

$45, not a lot of budget but i'm getting the 650 off a friend for 40
