I am not too sure. I have not heard much about that heatsink. But I haver heard a lot about the motherboard. Most have listed the bad thing about the board beign all the capacitors or transistors or whatever right next to the cpu that does limit size of heartsink somewhat. Some were forced to get difference heatsinks.

That is an older GlobalWin model but I think it would fit fine on a CUSL2-C. I myself would recommend either one of the newer GlobalWin's like the Fop32 or an Alpha like the Pal3065 or Pep66.

You might run into problems with the little ridge on the FDP32. YOu may be better off getting a newer, designed for Flip-Chip heatsink.

Ulysses,

I agree that the FOP32-1 is a great cooler, but referring people to a highly inaccurate/unrelative test is risky. From his test, other, worse performing heatsinks don't appear to perform that significantly worse than the fop.

Well I have to agree, Mike, that Tom's Hardware's test procedure left me a little cold. In fact I don't know what his procedure really was! I don't think I'll use that link again, but I showed it just for convenience, since most tests do show that the FOP32 is an effective HSF, is reasonably quiet, fits most motherboards, and is not too expensive.

Mike:
Which three coolers do you consider the best for the P3/Athlon flip-chips?

P3 coolers: Fave is the PEP66, then the FOP series, then the Hedghog.

AMD coolers: Hedgehog, PAL(for easier clip use), FOP series, and a fourth, the Taisol CGK.
