Will this current PSU work

Here is some basic PSU info to research:

Any on these will power your rig up. Not sure what your budget is, but a x1950xt will need some Amps on the 12V rail to operate correctly. The Corsair 450 PSU listed below, would be the minimum that I would get for your needs. There are others out there, but for the quality and price, it's hard to beat.

PSU - $100 shipped , hard to beat for this price.

Hey first post! At least here, too many on others to care to list

Great recommendations even if the first 2 links are ones i wrote. 😀

I don't care fr that 2nd article though. I prefer to point people to my PSU Reference List. At least whenever i get around to updating it which happens from time to time.

But i would go with a Corsair. Xion tends to focus more on making a cool looking PSU rather then making a quality PSU. They are decent PSUs but there are much better options out there.

All of the links are very helpful, so I used them (hopefully you didn't mind). I'll use your Reference link, for a better setup (if you don't mind either). All of your work on these has made my PSU understanding 10 fold. Hopefully your work isn't going un-noticed 🙂

You don't need permission to use the links or distribute the information. Its there for all to use. I just hope that my efforts have helped to make things easier to understand. I found that most of the information is easily available but tends to be hard to understand so i tried to simplify it as much as possible.

Its good to have the links mentioned evey so often to help spread the knowledge.
