Will this cpu work in this motherboard?

My friend is trying to put an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket 939 cpu in this motherboard:

On the bottom of the page it states "Supports up to 3500+, 3800+ Athlon 64 FX 53, or higher CPU" but i'm not sure if it can support over a 3800+ because the wording is vague.

Does anyone know if my friend can use this cpu on his mobo? Thanks.

I have a K8N Neo4 SLI Platinum with an X2 4200+.
No issues.

If you are using Windows XP be sure to download the latest drivers for the dual core. I can't recall details but there were some issues upgrading socket 939 systems from single core to dual core on Windows XP. With a clean install of Windows XP or with Vista it wouldn't be an issue.

Definitely do a fresh install of XP with the X2 install. If you don't, your computer will feel VERY sluggish.
