Also, is the CPU's multiplier locked so that it can not be set above its current levels and the only way to O/C is to adjust the FSB?

That CPU will work on that board. I believe that the higher multiplyers are locked on those chips but I may be wrong.

good choice Schadenfroh. Best A64 mobo and that's a CG rev clawhammer for high levels of OCing (2.5-2.6 air is well expected) Clawhammer 754 is just as fast as 939 winch too.

Sometimes I wish I got this setup instead of 939....

This Heatsink will fit on the notebook cpu, right? Also, no FSB overclocking to hit that 2.5Ghz? just multiplier?

I think A64s are half-locked--you can go down, but not above the stock multi.

You need the Thermalright 948U for perfect comptability.

Any other HSF *will* work but you need to mod it.. But you're smart and can figure that out.
