Hey guys, I am upgrading my brother's system with an Asus A7V motherboard. I'm going to be throwing in a 1.3ghz Duron chip to replace the 600mhz Duron. Conveniently, I found the motherboard capabilities after I purchased the chip. According to ASUS, this chip will only run on board PCB 1.05 and above with the 1008 bios. I am not sure if the board is revision 1.05, but I have the 1008 bios running on it. Anyone tried this with a lower revision board and can verify if it works or not? Thanks!
