Will this CPU heatsink/fan fit in my case?

My case (I already have this):
COOLER MASTER Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811119106

The heatsink/fan that I want:
XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835233003

Please note that the case has a cone (for lack of a better term) which settles over the CPU. The cone allows room for the stock Intel heatsink/fan (which is what I use now), but I'm not sure how much extra room there is left. I'm also not sure if the "cone" can be removed. Please advise!

If you don't think this heatsink/fan will fit then please suggest another one. My computer's specs are in my signature.

Thanks in advance!

It looks as if the side duct can be removed since I can see the screw heads in the Newegg photograph. However it is likely that if you remove the duct, the flange to the duct also holds the mesh across the hole in the side panel, so you will be left with a gaping hole.

What I did on my Cooler Master Praetorian 731, was cut the duct off, so that all that is left is the plastic flange, which you screw back on to the side panel to hold the mesh in place.#

This gives you the clearance for fitting larger HSFs

Ok, let?s say that the airflow cone can be removed (either by unscrewing or cutting)? can anyone verify if the interior case dimensions, themselves, will allow for this heatsink/fan to attach on the CPU?

I can live without the cone, but I won?t buy this heatsink/fan if I have to keep the whole side panel off the case.

Also, how the heck does that fan bolt to the heatsink?? From the pictures I REALLY can?t figure it out.

case width: 8"
heatsink height: 159mm (6.2598")

You generally want to add a little less than an inch for the motherboard backplate, standoffs, motherboard and mounting height (which would be 7.26"), so it should fit. It's a pain to find technical drawings of cases but using that method I haven't gone wrong yet.

p.s. there are usually wire clips that attach the fan to the heatsink.
