I did a search for epox boards both here and in the MB forum, and came across a few threads mentioning compatability problems between this board and some memory chips. Most of the problems seemed to be with a 2x512 setup, but I just wanted to make sure.
I'm going to be buying an XP 1700 + and 2x256 Kingston KVR333 RAM along with this board from Newegg, and I'd like to try and run that 1700+ on a 166MHz fsb to give the video some headroom. If this RAM won't work, what will? Newegg's other choices in that price rang are Crucial (2x39.99), Corsair Value Select (2x38) and PNY (2x39). There were a few that were cheaper, but nothing that I'd ever heard of except Viking and Geil, and some that were more expensive - but I'm trying to keep costs to a minimum.
