Will this card work in a 32-bit/33mhz slot?

I'm about to buy it, and just want to make sure... it says it can be jumpered to run in 32-bit mode.. so i'm guessing that is what I need, but can anyone confirm that it will work?

Yes, it will. Probably more than 99% of all PCI cards are backwards compatible with 32/33 PCI, excluding PCI-E of course.

That's what I thought, but I must have had the 1% of cards that wren't backwards compatible. Stupid Tekram 🙁

After digging through LSI's site I finally found it in their knowledge base. Thanks for confirming 🙂

PCI-X and PCI are supposedly compatible with each other.

i.e. PCI card in PCI-X slot or PCI-X card in PCI slot.
