Will this board support dual core?

Hi,

In February I bought the MSI Neo4 (sp?) from Newegg. It uses the Nforce4 chipset. Would anyone happen to know if this will support a dual core Athlon 64, given the right bios updates of course? Thanks!

Yes it can but just in case the BIOS is an old one

flash the BIOS to the newest one on the MSI website.....

Yes, it will support X2 procs, but make sure, as "international" said, to flash to the latest BIOS .

Thanks guys. I'll make sure to hit MSI's website before upgrading. Now if they could only do something about the price of the X2 chips....
