will this bios work?

I have a HP Pavilion a1130n with ms-7093 mb. I see a bios on the msi site for this mb that supports dual core processors, but it is not shown on HP's site.

Is their much risk using the msi bios on this mb so I can upgrade to dual core 4200?

Check if other HP Pavilion 1000 series computers use a dual core, and verify if they use the same MB. You might be able to find the BIOS for another HP computer with a dual core using the same mobo.

Otherwise contact them via IM service line.

If the BIOS is not compatible with this MB, the flash might render the motherboard useless.

You might want to try contacting MSI, too.

I checked and found no HP system using this board and dual core AMD processors. All systems built with it were were released in spring of 2005 around the world.

Does anyone know if the new bios on MSI's site will work with this board. Is this risky?
