Will this be possible on a KT266A?

I wanted do know if a 100MBz FSB Duron, 266FSB mobo and 2100DDR ram work. Do mobos have the ability to clock the CPU at 100Mhz FSB while clocking the Memory and Ram at 133Mhz double pumped. I know that some mobos can decrease the RAM timings for PC100 memory on the KT133 mobo. I had for 2 years an Asus A7V with a 750Mhz Duron clocked to 950Mhz, PC133 memory. An example of FSB timing on the Memory at 133Mhz but CPU timing at 100Mhz. Will this be possible on a KT266A.

I'm not new to this? I 've been around since the original IBM PC with 16 KB and dual 160K Single Side Floppy drives.

Yes. It is called "asynchronous" when you can run the FSB and Mem at different speeds..VIA has been the best at letting us do such a beautiful thing 😀

Hi.
I got a Epox-8KHA+(VIA KT266A) with a Duron.
I have these settings FSB 100mhz, Memory settings (133mhz x 2) Crucial PC2100.

At the moment(my XP1500+ will be here wednesday 😀 woohooo) I'm running a AK31A with a duron700@133.3x7=933mhz 1.9vcore and it's yet to crash(runs Eccp 24/7) + I game and do FlaskMPEG.

I'm running my Duron 800@994 at vcore 1.70v on Epox 8KHA+. Tried running 100 FSB & RAM at 133 FSB...no probs.
